From Champagne Takeovers to Fight Nights: Every Chapter Builds the Next

Every once in a while, a memory hits you so clearly that you can feel the energy again. For me, it’s one of the biggest promotional events I ever managed at my restaurant in San Francisco—a night that changed the way I think about partnerships.

Working with Veuve Clicquot was nothing short of unforgettable. We secured over 1,000 RSVPs with a line forming before doors even opened. Magnums were raffled off, cocktail flights kept the bar buzzing, and branded lounge-style seating transformed the space into an experience that perfectly mirrored the elegance and excitement of the brand. Our 6,200-square-foot restaurant was the ideal canvas—and the guests showed up ready to celebrate.

That event opened the doors to more buyouts and large-scale activations: holiday parties for major companies like First Republic Bank (yes, we really did have a custom cake topped with an edible eagle), and serving as the official Viacom after-party venue for a comedy festival at Civic Center. Big brands, big turnouts, big expectations—and I loved every second of it.

It’s wild to reflect on how far things have come since the days of managing UFC pay-per-view nights with 300+ guests packed into City Beach in Fremont. Different cities, different industries, different crowds—but each chapter sharpened my understanding of how to build anticipation, manage flow, and create buzz that lasts.

And now, that energy returns in a new way.

Next Chapter: Osorio Training Center

I’m thrilled to channel everything I’ve learned into supporting Osorio Training Center’s upcoming fights and events. The mission:
sold-out shows, lines around the block, waitlists, and the Osorio/OTC name known well beyond the Bay Area.

Great things happen when great partners team up, and I’m always looking to collaborate with driven brands, sponsors, and vendors who want to be part of the growth.

Two Quick Ways to Support and Connect

• Vote for me for Hayward Chamber of Commerce’s Best in Event Planning Services at haywardsbest.com — voting ends November 21.
• Join me in person at OTC’s Thanksgiving Party on November 21 from 4–8 PM. It’ll be the perfect way to check out the gym, meet the team, connect with the community, and have a great time.

From champagne towers to fight nights—this journey has never been boring. And something tells me the most exciting chapters are still ahead.
