One of six stops for this #onebusybee on Halloween included a visit to Max’s Cakes in downtown Hayward. Max is a hardworking and successful young baker, offering free cupcakes to anyone who stopped by in costume. Of course, this donkey had to make a stop.
The offer and special event was supposed to go until 6 PM, but I heard they ran out around 2 PM—he’s just that popular! If you need a cake for a special occasion, be sure to place your order early. Still, there’s no shortage of delicious treats available every day.
Way to go, Max—you’re absolutely k-i-l-l-ing it! Thank you for taking a moment to come out for a quick photo. I know you’re a busy man. It is pretty cool how we all attended his grand opening and had the pleasure of meeting him at Angela Andrews’ birthday party at The Dirty Bird and he is still thriving! Congratulations!
