Girls’ night, but make it science.

A night at California Academy of Sciences ‘s NightLife event where we explored the museum after hours — no school groups, just grown-ups, good vibes, and a whole lot of creativity.
Not only do you get access to the exhibits in a completely different atmosphere, but you’re also introduced to vendors curated around the theme of the evening. With Valentine’s Day around the corner, it was all about connection and a little romance — tarot readings, complimentary mini bouquets, poets writing custom verses on the spot, and even a “Date My Friend” segment that had everyone laughing and cheering.

Add in a DJ, bubbles, wine and cocktails available for purchase, and it turns into the perfect mix of culture and fun. If you recall that I sold Stella & Dot jewelry for almost 10 years, you’ll enjoy the gems on display. Isn’t it amazing what Mother Earth creates?

And as someone who works in events, I love seeing vendors thrive. So great to see Photo-matica still going strong — truly one of the best to work with. Consistent, professional, and always elevating the experience.
If you haven’t done NightLife at the Academy, consider this your sign. Science, community, and a little sparkle — all in one evening.
Why yes, that IS my lovely Color Street rep – Nichole Irizarry Kennedy ! Please give her some love!
